Do you need to remove limescale from your coffee machine? With regular use of our citric acid-based limescale remover, your coffee will always taste delicious, and your espresso machine will maintain its speed and last longer! Manufacturers recommend descaling with either lactic acid or citric acid, and HG offers both!

How to use HG Coffee Machine Descaler with citric acid?
For proper use of HG Coffee Machine Descaler, follow these steps:

• Pour 75 ml (¾ cup) of HG Coffee Machine Descaler with citric acid into the water tank and add 750 ml of water (1:10 ratio).
• Let the solution sit for 10 minutes.
• Turn on the machine and let half of the solution run through.
• Turn off the machine, let the product sit for another 10 minutes, then run the remaining liquid through until the tank is empty.
• After treatment, thoroughly rinse the machine by filling it with fresh water and running at least 3 cycles with clean water to remove all limescale residues and any aftertaste.
• For capsule machines, place a used capsule in the holder to catch any remaining limescale deposits, preventing clogging of the outlet.
• For descaling regular coffee machines, kettles, and washing machines, we recommend HG Appliance Descaler.
• A 500 ml bottle is sufficient for 6 descaling treatments.
