Dinitrol 538 Plus Primer 10ml

DINITROL 538 Plus is a one-stage black primer with additional properties for bonding auto glass with PU adhesives. It is a solvent primer maturing on the basis of physical and chemical processes with high adhesion on glass and ceramic screen printing. This ensures the retention of the PU adhesive system during vehicle operation. It also provides the glued joint with protection against UV radiation.

Characteristics:
DINITROL 538 plus is a one-stage black primer with additional properties for bonding auto glass with PU adhesives. It is a solvent primer maturing on the basis of physical and chemical processes with high adhesion on glass and ceramic screen printing. This ensures the retention of the PU adhesive system during vehicle operation. It also provides the glued joint with protection against UV radiation. Primer DINITROL 538 plus must be used in the adhesive joint for the following purposes: - as a one-step primer for the ceramic strip of auto glass (additional protection of the adhesive joint against UV radiation) - pretreatment for RIM tapes and varnishes - primer with a long open time (up to 3 months) - corrosion protection for minor paint damage on the body flange - usable for all PU adhesives DINITROL (EFTEC)

Application:
Before applying the DINITROL 538 plus primer, the glued surface must be clean and free of grease. This can be achieved, for example, with DINITROL 7250 etc. The primer must be thoroughly mixed before use using the included mixing ball. The primer is applied manually using an application brush or felt or by spraying. Allow DINITROL 538 plus one-step glass/paint primer to dry for at least 10 minutes before applying your own adhesive. Due to the reaction of the primer with air humidity, the opened container must be used within a maximum of 3-4 days.

Storage, safety:
According to 91/155 EWG, the primer DINITROL 538 plus must be marked with the symbols: F, Xn. Store the primer at temperatures of 0 to 35°C, in well-closed containers. Shelf life 12 months. Work with the primer in dry and well-ventilated rooms.
