DINITROL 6060 Polyester spray sealant

Characteristics:
Dinitrol 6060 is a two-component polyester spray sealant used in the manufacture and repair of motor vehicles and machinery. Small unevenness, holes or pores that may occur when thicker layers are joined can be quickly and easily filled or leveled with Dinitrol 6060. Layers of up to 1000 μm can be applied in one work procedure.

Application:
Dinitrol 6060 can be applied directly to bare roughened sheet metal. For painted surfaces, loosened paint residues must be removed and the painted surface must be roughened (good adhesion). Thermoplastic varnishes must be removed, otherwise cracks may form. Before use, Dinitrol 6060 is stirred and mixed well with the hardener solution. The mixed sealant is sprayed onto the treated surface with a pressure gun with a nozzle of approx. 2 mm. After spraying, the gun must be immediately cleaned of the remaining sealant, otherwise the material will harden and the gun will be unusable. After hardening, the putty can be sanded dry or processed further. When sanding "wet", the putty must be well dried before it is further varnished. In order to prevent the possible formation of blisters, a so-called "non sanding filler" or insulating filler should be applied before painting.
Attention: When handling the hardener, the guidelines for organic peroxides must be observed.
