Physical and chemical properties

Binder base: nitro-combi
Color: black or white, glossy, satin, matte
Odor: Solvent
Gloss level (at a measuring angle of 60° according to DIN 67530):
glossy: 80-85 gloss units
satin: 30-40 gloss units
matte: <20 gloss units
Effectiveness: Depending on the consistency and color of the base:
400 ml is sufficient for approximately 1.3 m²
600 ml is sufficient for approximately 2.0 m²
Drying time (at 20°C, 50% relative humidity):
Dust-proof: after approximately 10 minutes
Dry to the touch: after approximately 50 minutes
Cured: after approximately 24 hours
The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, air humidity and the thickness of the applied coating.
Temperature resistance: up to 80°C
Storage stability: 10 years provided appropriate storage facilities are provided (=10°-25°C, relative humidity 60%)

Application

Surface preparation:

Clean the surface from dirt, grease and rust.
Fill and sand the uneven surface.
If you do not need to use putty for filling, apply a base coat, e.g. CAR's Primer.
Otherwise, apply DUPLI-COLOR Filler to a finely sanded surface. Before doing this, thoroughly cover the repaired area with tape.
In case of repairs of larger areas, we recommend covering the edges of the body with tape.

Painting:

The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease.
Cover the areas you do not want to paint.
Shake the container thoroughly for 3 minutes before use.
Test the color match of the spray and the repaired surface.
The application distance should be approximately 20-30 cm.
Apply several thin cross coats at 3-5 minute intervals.
Do not use on synthetic coatings!
